Grandma's Place, an early learning &
childcare centre is a privately-owned
registered Day Nursery committed to
providing the highest quality day care for
children from two months up to five years.
Our name speaks volumes; The Grandma’s

The Grandma's Place is situated on a
sizeable plot of land with spacious rooms
and a beautiful garden. The happy faces of
the teachers and carers are big attractions
for the children to want to stay with us
all day.
The Grandma's Place is opened all year round,
Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 6.30pm
(excluding public holidays.) There's a
Special Saturday Club which caters for the
children from 9am-3pm.
We aim to provide a stimulating environment
where children can learn the joy of
discovery and feel secured in a homely and
caring atmosphere. We believe that the
nursery experience should be an enjoyable
part of early childhood. Our
facilities
enable us to cater for different age groups
and there is a safe, enclosed play area for
outdoor activities which are an important
part of the children's daily routine.
The Grandma's Place is divided into 3 main
groups:
The Crèche (0-18 months), Play Group (18
months-3years)
and Nursery (3-5 years).
We expose the children to the
right environment at an early stage. This
brings out the best in them and gives them
the right foundation. Our emphasis here is
in creating a lot of fun for them while
learning. This way, they learn a lot more as
they enjoy what they do.
The love and care that is peculiar to
Grandmas is what all our children get. The
parents therefore see the Grandma's place as
their family solution to a hectic
business
life. Getting good nannies and housemaids
are becoming more and more difficult these
days and the dangers of leaving the children
with young ladies
with little or no experience make the
parents quite uneasy and restless while at
work. Being in Grandma's care gives them
comfort and peace of mind. The parents are free to come in and
see their children any time, feed them, read
to them and play with them. We also organize
various baby-friendly programmes.
Our children learn to love, share and
contribute to their environment at an early
stage. They learn not to hurt their friends
and neighbours (other children) and they
know they must not be aggressive in their
attitude to parents, teachers, friends and
all.
Our other services include:
After-School Activities: The school offers a
wide range of after-school activities. These
include music and dancing, baking, karate
and teakwando, drama club, arts and craft in
addition to subjects like English, Maths,
Sciences e.t.c.
Drop-In-Services: This is for the working
mums and stay-home mums who want to drop
their kids for some hours, while they do
their shopping or just to take some time off
for a break.
Common Entrance Examinations Coaching:
The school offers extensive coaching to help
Year 6 pupils in subject areas that are
specific to Common Entrance Exams. Highly
qualified teachers coach the students.
Party Venue: The school's
dynamic environment offers an opportunity to
organize children's parties on the premises.
Food, music, entertainment, games, gift
packs and bouncing castles are provided as
part of this service.
Book/Video Club: This facility
encourages children to borrow educational
books and videos for use at home.
CYBER CRECHE
Cyber Crèche: Caters for children between 5
and 16 years. It introduces children to
Information Technology at an early stage.
Children from all schools are welcomed to
make use of this facility. Certificates are
awarded at the end of the course.
